We hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year and managed to find time for some crafting in amongst all the festivities (and chocolates!)
We've had a busy start to 2020 planning workshops for the next few months and also hosting a couple in January. Our cable knit beanie workshop was held again due to popular demand and we held the first of our crocheted heart workshops last week. We are holding the next crocheted heart workshop on the 8th February if you want to make one for your sweetheart or, it could make a thoughtful gift for Mothers Day in March.
We're going to be hosting our first Monday Makes and Cakes on February 3rd from 6pm to 8:30pm at Busy Fingers, Stocksbridge. This is going to be a monthly get together for local crafters to meet up over tea and cake and we'll be meeting on the first Monday of each month. Just bring whatever project you are working on - whatever that may be! - or have a browse around the shop and pick up supplies for your next one. We won't be offering formal tuition on these evenings but will be happy to provide assistance if you are stuck with anything! The sessions are just £5 per person and there's no need to book. Just turn up and join the fun!

We are aiming to offer a wide variety of workshops so there should be something on offer that tickles your fancy!! If there is something you have always wanted to learn but you don't see it on our forthcoming events then please let us know and we will see what we can do!
We're also starting to plan for our stall that we will be having at Spring into Wool at Leeds Grammar School on Sunday 19th April. We went as visitors last year and had a great day out so can highly recommend a trip to the show - make sure you have an empty car boot when you set off so you have plenty of room for all your purchases for the journey home! We have a pair of weekend passes for the event that we will be giving away nearer the time so watch this space for your chance to win.
